I've been working on trying to acquire us some new orienteering clothing for the club, and I think we're really close to having something ready to order. We're working with Podiumwear, a company based in the midwest, that has been in charge of the US Ski-O Team uniforms for the last three years, and our experience with them has been very good so far, the guy in charge is very willing to work with me and make all sorts of changes.

A couple members have seen the sample jersey and passed it around, and it isn't the final product, but is quite close. Think orange and blue and some white and a yin yang and "CSU". The jersey is basically a modified bike jersey, with a front zipper, no pockets, and no elastic anywhere. The sides are a lighter mesh. "7 panel, fully custom, technical shirt".

Cost will be $58, or $50 if we get more than 25 orders. Podiumwear can make both men's and women's versions - the women's versions have slightly shorter sleeves and a tapered fit.

So here is what I need from you: we have a couple options. My original plan had been to acquire the jerseys before the relay championships (october 28th 2011), but if we go for a shorter zipper instead of the 3/4 length zipper, they will be in too late. So the options are:
1. Take the jerseys as they are, with 3/4 length zipper, hopefully in time for relay champs.
1b. Take the jerseys as they are, with no zipper, hopefully in time for relay champs.
2. Make more changes to the design, including a 7" zipper (he has to order the zippers and they apparently take a long time to arrive), and get the jerseys some time this winter.

Can you please email me if you are interested in buying a new CSU shirt? If you are, can you choose either option 1 or option 2, above? There is a bit of a rush if we decide to go with option 1, so the sooner you can get me your answer, the better! I appreciate most comments and suggestions, but may not be able to incorporate them. It'll be so nice to have new CSU clothes!

On a related note, please forward this to any CSU orienteers who didn't get the email - I know the email list can be uncooperative sometimes.

Thanks!

Are 1a and 1b possible at the same time?
