I run off the map at the start of courses, not the end.

I wonder if the course setter realized that was an awesome set-up for a parallel error (or 180 or whatever you might call it). It's hard to assume people are going to get turned 180 like that; or maybe to turn left when they should have turned right.

Actually from reading the article, it seems taking some glucose refreshment on the course would be a good idea.

Cedar - assuming you're talking about tRicky's link, as the course setter in question I can safely say I never considered that anyone would do something quite THAT daft. :)
