Discussion: Rogaine and MTB-O Back to Back

For orienteers in the western US & Canada, the weekend of October 15 &16th is a rare chance to participate a Rogaine, a Foot-O and a Mountain Bike O event all on the same weekend, at the same location, on an the same, new 1:20,000 map. The Eager Hill Fall Run-off combines a 4 hour Rogaine, on Saturday with the choice of a Scatter-O. MTB-O or a Duo (combination of Foot-O and MTB-O), on sunday. All are on a new 1:20,000 map at the expanded site of the 2010 North American Champs. The weather, in the Kootenay's, is usually perfect for fall orienteering with temps in the mid-teens celsius, clear skies and changing fall colours.
