Yeh, I was actually thinking about that as I was riding. Luckily there were no fence posts around, but I don't know if hitting a stone wall would be any better. Another advantage of using hedgerows that I'd never considered before.

Quite a few pros have been brought down by freak accidents lately. Maybe I should stick with running ;-)
