a recent experience with a small twig or leaf got me thinking i better start wearing some eye protection googles.
any recommendations ?
I used to wear clear cycling glasses with air vents to minimize fogging. I haven't been successful in avoiding fogging in all weather conditions but the trade-off vs. an eye injury seems worthwhile.
These days, I wear safety glasses with small reading magnifiers in the lower inside corner. There has been much discussion on AP about eyewear with reading magnifiers, and there are a number of different solutions including orienteering-specific glasses.
I found a pair of racquetball glasses that I like. They have a spacer that holds the glasses out away from the face to enhance airflow. I figured that racquetball players have problems with fogging too without as much air blowing across their faces.
