Discussion: I ran along that stretch of...

I ran along that stretch of field/beach once when I was in high school on a run just prior to a thunderstorm...just made it home before it poured but was out when a lightning bolt hit a big tree about 50 m from me...the noise was deafening, bark flew everywhere and I felt the hair on my arms stand up prior to impact....Never really thought much about it befroe I started my run...I just got very lucky....Don't know what I would havw done Tuesday night but I was thinking of all of you at 7:15 ish...Andrew C. tells me there were a lot of wet o-runners....glad to hear that no one lost their bark!

Crazy...

Picking up my sister from her work the other day, as she opened the door to the car a strike hit the telephone pole just on the other side of the street. I think I was shaking for the next minute...

Now that's crazy!
