Sorry to hear it... it was a tough park - lots of hills, lots of green, controls on point features, etc. It required intensity of mind and body throughout. I hope you'll tell us more...

I was already in a bad mood because of all the rootstocks (most of which were unmapped). On the long leg I tried to finesse it a little by moving around the edges of the mapped green, but I just got swallowed up, got cut up, lost my compass (it broke off the baseplate), and just didn't feel like going on.

I think all of us have been there before...or the newer orienteers will be some day! At least you didn't loose all of your front teeth!
