Good to see you back in action and fast as ever! 6 minutes/km is pretty speedy! :)
That was because Speedy was the meet director :), and I write the distance I covered; the course was 6.35 km
Nice work! Good to see you back racing again!!
Nice job, my now and forever Jukola teammate.
Perhaps you could stop training completely, because you just get faster and faster. With Swampfox and you both tapering like fiends, I wonder who will near the assymptote of maximum performance fastest?
With another month or two like this, you can travel over to the UK and take Oli down in his house.
Now that Greg is running so well on Red (and with a bad back!) maybe I had better re-think this thing, and perhaps switch back to Blue, where the competition is so much weaker.
That's right. Go to where pickings are easy.
That's what PG has been doing for years, with tremendous success. You have to be willing to learn from the masters!
I hope mr. Swampfox stays on Red, so I do not have to run Blue to find decent competition
How about you all drop down to brown? It was fierce competition this weekend.
Joe, winning by 28 minutes when you ran for 22 can hardly be called fierce...
got a point there Boris, but for me the competition starts inside my own body and mind. I sort of create my own race regardless of who is running or the course I am running. not only was it fierce competition, but intense too. all this to prepare myself for running with an injury.
Count on Balter's log to inspire deep thoughts like this.
I second Joe on that competition thing - I am my own toughest competitor.
Yeah, and you don't make it easy for yourself.
even my band-aids aren't helping...
