We have used this for summer training in the past, has it really gotten worse?
I remember thinking that it had a lot of saplings hitting me in the face when I ran there this spring. I guess that was just after leafout? lots of little trees, hopefully some of them start dying soon. Of course then we'll just get more stuff on the ground. Blah.
Mmmm, oodles thicker than Nobscot at least! Might be zone by zone that things are different than the past, but think the thick actually migtht be good for France training as sounds like it's tough to get through stuff there...
I love Baldwin Hill. Some parts are very open, but a few were thick even at the fall a-event.
It was unbearably thick last summer when I was pre-running the A-meet courses. Time of year is key.
