Well, we were looking for a room (not a camp site, and not a hostel), requirements were free wifi and free parking. I booked a room at BRIT HOTEL CHAMBERY, a little north of Chambery in the direction of Aix-les-Bain, just off the fast highway. 57 euros a night, not cheap, not terrible. And you never really know until you get there whether you'll like a place or not.
Can always cancel if I find something that looks better. But it's nice to have something locked in.

We´re going too - but we have booked a campsite, since we´re still young - even if the caption on the pic from Ireland said old ;)
Don´t know if I´ll bring the computer though - maybe I can survive for a week without it? And I still have my smartphone.
