Discussion: Splits

Adam, I think you entered your time as "splits" and not "cumulative," leading to the inaccurate total time for your run. We should have similar time at #5 and #6, since you punched not too long after me. I'm not sure how many minutes I started after you though.

my stopwatch got messed up somehow between 4 and 6, and I fixed it at 8. I know I was faster than 14 minutes on #4; and I know I was alot longer than 18 minutes on # 7.

O! I now I remember what happened to make my total time a little bit short. I started my stopwatch 20-30 seconds late. I'll subtract my stopwatch's total time from my official total time and add it to the first split. What was my official total time?

I can't remember the exact time, but it was right on/around 120 minutes total. I may have started ~10 mins after you? The official results should be up on OCIN's website soon, I think.

By the way, I saw you again near #9 (I was heading to it). Were you on your way to #7 then?

I saw 2 people while I was going to 7. I don't remember who they were, but 1 was down in a reentrant, and I was on a ridge; and the other 1 was on the northern side of the farthest north creek, and I was on the south side.

No, I saw both of them while I was on the little ridge to the NW of 9, not the northern most creek.

Adam---The guy you saw at the northern creek might have been Bill Swift. Do you know if he saw you? Bill said he didn't see you.

It's probably the guy on Orange w/ the camouflage top. He was walking along the creek bed towards 9/13 (green) when I passed him on the trail above.

I know the 1st person saw me. The 2nd person probably saw me.
