Discussion: Waiting for results

Once results are posted I'll know what my overall time was and will post that as a split too. Whatever it is it will be bad due to the control code issue at #3 followed by exhaustion. :)

Doncha know, ICO stands for "Ignore Codes whilst Orienteering". Dave Waller bailed after having his oxygen and fluid deprived brain befuddled by a bad code at number 9. Apologies if this comment sounds a little harsh to ICO, because we really do appreciate the opportunity you provide for us to run on your wonderful maps. But it does seem that incorrect codes are a less than rare occurance at ICO events.

Oh man sorry to hear about Dave! It is amazing scenery at that Camp Ransburg and I definitely do appreciate ICO putting on the event! If it was that hard to run it I can only imagine how much time it takes to set it up and take it down. Definitely well worth the long drive. But yeah, there shouldn't be confusion like at at he controls, but at least now I know wha to beware of for the future and I'm sure this is prone to happen anywhere. By the way Mike I have a huge black thing in my truck I'm supposed to give to you!
