I just thought I should make a general post about this weekend, to make sure everyone is aware what's going on. It'll be on the last weekend in March. The plan is to have back to basics technique training at Osbornedale on Saturday, sprint training on the Yale campus on Saturday evening, then fun times in New Haven. The following day there will be a head to head handicap race at Ansonia, to put all those new techniques into practice. If you have any specific techniques you'd like to work on, let us know and we'll see if we can design a course appropriate for it.

All are welcome to the weekend, but it would be good to have an idea of numbers before we print maps. If you could sign up on AP or e mail Boris or myself, that would be excellent. Similarly, let us know if you need somewhere to stay.

This is the first of hopefully a few training weekends that will be focussed towards WOC athletes in timescale, but also really fun and useful for anyone out there who wants to improve their basic O technique. When we say all welcome, we really mean it! The more the merrier. Watch this space for further announcements!

Hope to see many of you in the woods very soon! Now I just need to finish drawing this sprint map...

Becky - is it possible to attend Saturday only? I'd love to come, but the full weekend would be difficult for me, since I've got a 2.5 year-old and a 6 month-old, and the weekend time is precious and in short supply.
