Hello folks,
I have a question about the size of inov-8 oroc 280. Did anyone who bought oroc 280 buy the same size you generally wear? I mean, I ve heard that compared to other brands, inov-8 orocs are smaller and you need get 1 size bigger. Is that right?
For example, according to size comparison chart of inov-8, 27.5 cm equals to 10.5 US. But the salomon slab-3 i wear now are 27.5 cm, but are 9.5 US. So what do you think which size I should get. should i consider US size or cm scale? I have to get it online and no choice to try it anywhere around where i live.
Thanksss.

this looks like the info you need: http://www.inov-8.com/Fit-and-Function.asp?L=26

Because they are unisex I actually go down half a size from normal running shoes but I know guys that go up half a size so probably better to use the official inov-8 info!

This might help too: http://www.inov-8.com/Fine-Tuning-Fit.asp?L=26

I got the 280s the same size (12.5 US) as my Asics running shoes (and most other O-shoes I've ever worn) and found them to be quite snug, but fine. I prefer a competition shoe fit pretty tight. I was surprised because the O340's in 12.5 were very roomy - so much so I considered sending them back, but I can get them tight enough. I only use them for trail running and training, anyway. I don't think their sizing is very consistent.

I'd like to try these, but I am not likely to do so until I can actually try them on. I didn't find the fit guidance very instructive or confidence inspiring.

My mudroc 290s fit just right. I converted my normal US > UK with their chart and ordered that size, and all set. Just order them, you can always send them back! :)

Thanks for all your replies guys,

I had already checked the chart in inov-8 website. That's why I have this confusion:) Because, I normally wear 27.5cm=9.5US=8.5UK. Then measured my feet again, 27.5cm.. then checked the chart. 27.5 cm = 10.5US=9.5UK. ooopsss :)
