Yeah! That was fast. Seems like Louise got a really good time as well. Guess I'll have to train hard this winter if I should be able to go for runs with you at all next summer.

The Gunner Shaw usually marks the end of the cross country season. Luckily I found out about another cross-series in January/February, so I'll try to make those. Other than that, there appears to be road races almost every other week until the end of June. Kris I'm sure you'll get a lot of mountain experience this winter, so that we can do mountain runs in the summer :)

btw. want to attempt to cross "Hardangervidda" next year? I think its possible to do it in one day, but i think night time might overlap a little.

Do you know if that Gunner Shaw course will be the National XC course next year?
There are some guys we train with that are interested in going (they won masters this year in Guelph). Oh and if my knees were better I'd love to join in a cross "Hardangervidda" run.

I'm guessing nationals will use a 2k loop instead (they seem to like those). If it's anything like the BC's last year, which were held at Jericho, then the course will be about 50% muddy grass, and the rest dirt/gravel trails. Nothing super hilly, but there was a nice, short, sketchy downhill last year. Maureen and Ted de St. Croix are heavily involved with the event, so if I find out about the course I'll let you know.
