So when are you climbing the mountain?

I think the climb is closed for the winter. Not sorry as the mountain is covered in snow from top to bottom. BRRRR!!

It closes in September. It's a pretty exposed climb.

No winter mountaineering? The japanese specialised in winter Himalayan ascents for quite a few years.

I mean the tourist/pilgrim season, when the huts are open and you can get a delicious meal to prepare you for the final pitch. And the toilet seats are heated too. This is my ideal of winter climbing! I suspect there are a few hurdles before a winter ascent of Fuji which a foreigner might find insurmountable.
