The enthusiastic Flying Pig discussion on AttackPoint prompted me to set up the courses also on RouteGadget. The Sprint course is now available while I continue to set up the Short and Classic courses. For RouteGadget introduction and instructions, visit RouteGadget intro page.

The SI unit at control #4 (36) obviously had some problems as many competitors didn't get a split for that leg. To allow more routes to be drawn I guestimated the split for those who missed it but otherwise finished the course OK (no MP). I looked at other competitors with similar total times at #3 and #5 to get some idea what the missing split might have been at #4. Should be close enough.

In the process I managed to skip one competitor who missed splits at both #4 and #8. Sorry Phil! You can still your route but your route animation will stop at #8.

While drawing your routes, don't forget to try the new RouteGadget feature that allows stops/pauses to be added at 3-second increments to your route drawings. You can add a pause by clicking the new '+3 sec' button next to the 'Undo' button while you are in the drawing mode. If you need longer pauses, simply press the button multiple times; 5 clicks gives you a 15-second pause.

Also, rememer to add some comments on your route choices, errors, etc.

Thanks to Vlad, Mike, Pat, and Matthew for the quick delivery of the files needed for the setup.

Happy Routes!

Flying Pig US Short Course Champs is now also available on RouteGadget.

Once again there was one SI unit (#252) that failed to issue splits reliable so I had to come up with few times for those who missed the split. Note that the guestimated time affects the animation accuracy only on the leg before and the one after the failing SI unit.

BTW, at this drawing rate it will be awhile before we know if any trains developed at the Sprint. Give it a try.

Flying Pig Classic courses are now also available on RouteGadget.

This time there were no misbehaving SI units, so the setup was quite a bit easier.

So far we have 11 routes drawn for the Sprint and 7 for the Short. Hopefully, many more are coming. Give it a try.
