a friend that was reading one of the many magazines piled up on the table at the local hairdresser noticed this blurb of a mention of "Orienteering" in the Ladies Home Journal magazine. Wow... word is getting around ...

Yes, thx, shame to get second billing to geocaching though.
If it weren't for our outdated URL, I would suspect Glen had some marketing success.

Well to be fair, the new site was only launched last week. I'm sure this article was written and submitted (and the magazine probably printed) before then.

If you enter the old URL it brings you right to the new site.

The only issue we're having is with links to internal pages that aren't the same on the new site. Better to just link to the main site address anyway because you never know when internal pages will come and go.

Here is what the LHJ article says about orienteering:

"Using only a map, a compass, and your general sense of direction, you run, hike or bike -- even canoe -- a several-mile-long outdoor course from point to point and race to complete the challenge in the fastest time without making any mistakes. Go to us.orienteering.org for events near you."

"Without making any mistakes"? Then what would we talk about at the finish? ;-)
