This year's Final event of the Sprint Series will take place on Oct. 15, s part of the US Classic Champs weekend. It will be a Team fundraiser, and you can register at https://sites.google.com/site/2010uschampsclassic/....

There will be two sprints. Sprint #1 will be a standard sprint, with interval starts, and will count in the final points calculation for the Sprint Series. Since it is a Team fundraiser and The Finals, the winner will get 50 points, with every place after that earning 2 less points. Sprint #1 starts begin at 2:00pm. You do not have to compete in Sprint #1 to run in Sprint #2.

Sprint #2 will be a mass start race with two heats, the Emu Heat and the Gazelle Heat. The Gazelle Heat will include the top five men and women from the 2010 Sprint Series Standings and the top three male and female finishers from Sprint #1 (who aren't also top five in the standings). The Emu Heat will be open to everybody and will begin 30 minutes after the last finisher from Sprint #1 finishes. The Gazelle Heat start will be as soon as the majority of people have finished from the Emu heat.

The winning man and the winning woman from Sprint #2 will be declared the winners of the 2010 Sprint Series!
