The Camp Ripley event schedule looks awesome! The maps and terrain are world class, and for the first time, MNOC has obtained permission to stage a night time race.

Join MNOC for sprints and middle distance races on the afternoon of Saturday October 23rd. These races shall be followed by a potluck picnic and then a 45 minute night score-o. After a restful night in the dorms, Sunday morning will dawn with a full compliment of Orange, Brown, Green, Red and Blue courses.

That sounds outstanding Todd! If I am not at Ft. Leavenworth, I will try to make it to this one at Ripley!

Finding a live artillery shell down range? Would that be too much to ask?

don't worry MNOC Ripley map is not yet georeferenced in ocad 10 so we can't send the control locations to the gunnery range officers for them to download into their equipment and pick off runners ......

Bummer; my headlamp is dead. If someone has a decent spare I can borrow for the night-o, please bring it. Thx.

The maps are so good there you don't need a headlamp. Just use your hands and navigate by feel.
