I ran the 14 control course on Spet 1st. [but didn't comment as well as you;-]

C4 - I spent much too long looking but am more likely to make errors in that kind of terrain and wanted to be sure I had a good approach and didn't just miss it.

C-7 - was one I reached and couldn't see - readjusted a little and still didn't see it. Looked down and it was at my feet - literally. I tied it back up on a small tree.

C-8 - Was there on the 1st. I climbed the hill and counted an appropriate number of strides along the trail and headed 90 degrees towards the control - I hit it just right.

C-9 - Was also there. I cut down from the trail early and thought the control would be at the end of the "swamp", but it was a bit further to the right (in a bush). Apparently what I thought was "stream" was still swamp...

C-13 - I believe it is off as well. I missed it, and I am reasonably certain I had a good path from 12, and was at the water hole. I scouted about 10 yards around, and then left.
