Two of my most enjoyable (and best executed) races were NAOC races at Sebago. Great memories of a great area.

In 1984 I remember racing a close to perfect race at the NAOC and being excited because I was only 1 minute back of the great Peter Gagarin since I ran m-20. Then I found out we were on different red courses and that when you raced there was a missing control but it was there on my course.

still the quality of mapping was ahead of its time in North America. My map has been cut so I don't recall who did the surveying.

Dave Linthicum, a Norwegian woman (I'm trying to remember the name), and Pat Dunlavey. Drafted by Pat.
