When I log onto the routegadget site and click download RG it goes to a page that tells me about it but doesn't allow me to download. I am wanting to be able to scan in my maps and upload GPS info from my forerunner 310 onto the map. Thought RG would be the best software to use or is there something better?

The download form is right down the bottom. :)

RG isn't a standalone piece of software, you run it through a web server. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, I think there's some better options around - eg. QuickRoute.

Seeing your mistakes is very important. Letting other people see them, not so much. :)

but letting others see them gives an area where more experienced orienteers can view your routes and point out whats good or bad. Been told whats good by better orienteers is a confidence booster and having you runs looked at and talking about your mistakes with a better O'er allows you to analysis other route choices, tactics for legs etc
Every micro hesitation is picked up on and can then be corrected.
Save 1sec on every control.... 30controls = 30 seconds
In a race that could be 10 places!

If its in your own home - its only you and you can talk you way out of alot of things
