I might pinch that one for a Trotter Training night soon. Will be Arthurs Seat midges we'll have to worry about though!
Yup, I am still itchy as hell this afternoon! But it was a really fun session!
Thats kinda how I used to structure my Circuits sessions.
sets of 3
- intense leg exercise to generate a flood of lactate.
- core exercise, through the lactate haze, to develop ability to maintain form under effort.
- arm exercise, to adda bit of strength and clear the lactate from elsewhere.
Sounds like great stuff. Just be careful that you are not doing the exercises in poison ivy. If you aren't familiar with it yet, be careful where you go until you can recognize it.
I got a lesson from Mrs Childs about poison ivy, so I think I can recognise it now! That was my big concern, but I think I managed to avoid it!
You should probably make an effort to see whether you react to it or not - by rolling around naked in some, for example - and then if you don't then you won't need to worry about recognizing it.
Ha ha! I'm not sure I'm quite brave enough for that one!
When I was growing up, an older neighborhood kid showed us all how immune and invulnerable he was by rubbing it all over his legs. A few weeks later when he got out of the hospital and starting to recover from the oozing blisters deep into his legs, he was a bit more humble. We all became believers.
That's horrible! First bears, and now oozing blisters - anyone would think you were trying to put me off! Luckily, I'm not easily swayed!
Sorry - wouldn't be any place else. Just trying to help the adjustment process. As I recall, no one ever warned me about stinging nettles when I was over there.... Danger lurks everywhere;-}
George, you make CT sound more dangerous than AZ!
I'd say in New Haven, the biggest danger is not from the bears or the plants...
I am inferring that it is either Boris's cooking or poorly aimed kubb blocks. Either way, I'm atremble :)
