Only another transit junkie could appreciate running through the streets of Queens to the LIRR at 5am on a Saturday morning.

I used to work for GE in Jackson Heights, near the BQE. Commuted every morning from midtown Manhattan across the Queensboro Bridge.

I'm ashamed to say that I seldom used transit in those days; GE provided company cars, no matter how unnecessary...
