thanks for that info mate. I tried to pay for a code but they didnt trust my foreing visa card. Anyone else has had this issue? how do you get around it?

I had the same problem. Couldn't pay with Westpac Visa or even Travelex. Translating the message it read Ïnvalid card number". I had the same trouble trying to pay with credit card for Oringen for Josh, and ended up doing bank transfer.
Would love to get a solution..

I've tried removing temp internet files etc, and just tried Mozilla instead of IE. Still no luck.

The problem is not a technical problem, it is a bank security issue. Swedish banks are now requiring additional security when purchasing over the internet. For O-Ringen we have had similar problems even for Swedish card payments. But I guess here in Sweden the error messages are at least clear to the user.

MasterCard has a service called "SecureCode" and VISA a service called "Verified by VISA". This requires entering an additional security code. Check with your card issuer for information.

I've just registered for the "Verified by VISA" online.
It still won't work but I'm anticipating that may be because it takes a while to go through ....... (fingers crossed).

both VISA and MC not working for me... Grrrrr.

They accepeted my Irish Visa, and it went through "Verified by Visa.

I can't get either my UK or US Visa through. Rubbish!

Rubbish indeed because I have verified for visa on my card and still not accepted. time to switch to live coverage of West Point A Meet instead.

It's not working for many over in Sweden and rest of Europe either. The website Alternativet is full of postings from users who are not getting access.

Yeh I never had any luck in the end. Tried mastercard as well while I was on phone talking to Bank Help, they couldn't help me either. :(

I've tried both Mastercard and Visa with no luck.

I was told by my bank (Commonwealth) that the reason my request via MC didn't go through was because I needed to send at these $20 Aus

Sorry to have misled anyone, it seems it was indeed a technical problem. Swedish users couldn't get through to the service either from what I understand.

However, the extra bank security step is necessary for on-line payments to Swedish banks in the future, e.g. for O-Ringen entry payments.

Perhaps the organizers will make the entire broadcast available for download...
