saturday night at buckenderra was cold and shitty enough for me... i decided to quit camping at about 5am on sunday morning :)
its not that bad ev. you just need a good sleeping bag..
i was wondering whether it snowed, i got a bit of hail on the way over thredbo. Dont think it was quite cold enough though.
Pretty sure it would have done - dropped to around -3 at the top of Thredbo which suggests a snow level around 1500-1600 metres. One of my colleagues saw flurries at Mt Donna Buang east of Melbourne (1250m).
ive got a kickass sleeping bag. it wasnt the cold, it was that hundred decible wind that kept me up all night
