Hello,

I'm trying to sort out my transportation to and from this event. What airports are people planning to fly in and out of? Trying to debate if I fly back or try and get a ride home and still make it to school on the Monday.

thanks!

FYI, Southwest serves the Louisville, KY, and Columbus, OH, airports, which are roughly equidistant from the IS/Pig venues. They also serve Indianapolis, IN, but that is much more distant.

Unfortunately, it looks like Delta has managed to keep SWA out of Cincinnati / N KY airport.

FWIW, I've always gotten much better deals into DAY than CVG (direct flight on US Air from Philly (or at least it used to be)).

Here is rough info on nearby ariports. Travel time estimate is based on reasonably good times of day. From about 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm Friday, anything can happen, and it will definitely be at least a little slower.
airport (code), distance, est. drive time, carrier notes
Cincinnati (CVG) 45 miles, 1:00, dominated by Delta
Dayton (DAY) 65 miles, 1:20, AirTran
Columbus (CMH) 125 miles, 2:15, SW
Louisville (SDF) 130 miles, 2:15, SW
Indianapolis (IND) 160 miles, 2:45, SW

Thanks everyone for the info I might have a bit more success on finding transportation that makes sense now.
