Discussion: Tight connections

You are the master of tight connections Blair, I still remember how you managed to get tickets and herd half a dozen of us onto that train from Budapest to Vesprem with seconds to spare and that was after you had got us across Romania the day and night before.

No European trip of mine seems to be complete without at least one epic trip including the combination of large numbers of public transport vehicles, but that Romania-Hungary one was one of the better ones. I think my personal record is getting from Fiesch, Switzerland to Winchester, England in a single day, involving six normal trains, four metro ones (two each in Paris and London) and a ferry.
