The best 23 days of the year are now here. A real shame that yet another drug scandal has hit, good on the director sportifs for putting the foot down though and chucking those suspected out of the race. Cadel to win!!!

I guess innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply to UCI. The bizarre thing is the news hasn't reported that the suspects have been vocal about their withdrawals.

I am not sure I agree with concept of "innocent until proven guilty" regarding doping (and not just regarding cycling). I have personally met and talked to some top notch track-and-field athletes in my better days and the stories they were telling me were unbelievable. Personally I am not surprised about the scandal. There were many guys on last tour that have had dope convictions before. I don't believe they were the only ones experimenting. I more believe that they were the only once that got caught.
