Thank you all who came, and triple all who helped. Sorry about Day 2, Blue #3. Toni L thought it was OK on pre-running. I will create/update event/split lengths in the race list once I get the files back from Sergei Zh's laptop. The net take should be enough to send 3 people to Japan at our usual support level.

WRE points are up. They seem a bit low to me, but still quite adequate for most of you. If you hit the remaining two WREs in Washington and Oregon in August this year, or go to World Cups or the WOC, you will get your 4 days and be fully ranked. The goal is 8 WREs in North America in 2006.

Wow! In one weekend I got WRE points, sprint points, tangerine ranking points, USOF ranking points, and Attackpiont ranking points. No wonder I was tired!

Had a great weekend. Thanks to Vulcan O and the US Team for putting on great event in fun terrain.

Thanks to all who put on the meet last weekend! It was great to get in the woods so early in the year (although I had been hoping that it would be a bit warmer in Alabama). I enjoyed having a different style of course (middle, classic, sprint) each day.

Also, it was nice to have a chance to actually meet and walk around the woods with some of the Texas kids during the afternoon training event that Eric organized. We were doing a line-o so they were working on reading the map more carefully than on their typical age-appropriate courses (at least the girls that I was walking around with were yellow runners). They seemed pretty psyched overall about orienteering and the interschool competitions they have in Texas.

I have the great honor of being listed as being from the US of A in the world rankings.

:)
