Discussion: thanks!

What a fun romp! Love having orienteering courses where I get to think non-stop! Wish I had this kind of continuously intense mental challenge in more of my orienteering experiences. Thanks for giving us a great Vasquez weekend!

What was the deal with people taking pictures with an inflatable rock? was that a Star Trek episode reenactment or something?

I didn't see them, but my understanding is that they were reeenacting the famous scene with Capt. Kirk and the Gorn. That's the episode that the picture we used is from. According to the rangers they get people quite often doing stuff like that.

Thanks to LAOC for the wonderful Middle course on Day 2! Sorry I couldn't be there early enough to enjoy the other courses.

I'd like to add my thanks to LAOC for a superb, fun event. I suspect it will be much less than 8 years until the next time I come out here for orienteering.

I want to say thanks also. This weekend was one of the more interesting courses I've been on. It's nice for me to change up the type of terrain I orienteer on and this certainly did it.

I enjoyed the meet too. I took a few photos mostly around the finish. What I've posted has been reduced a lot. If anyone wants a full resolution version (~4mb each), just send me an email and identify the photo name.
