Discussion: 2010 World Rogaine Championships

Please note that registration for the 2010 WRC in New Zealand opens on November 1st, 2009 -- and the field is limited to 550 people, with some getting preference, as you can read on the web site.

...at 1800 Sydney Australia note that 99 teams are registered on the 9WRC2010 web site with ...about 50 other teams to be added. If you are thinkning of entering and do not have a prioroty entry you should act soonish...

Make that 200 teams by 10pm!

It turns out that their registratoin system is skipping (no t finalising some registrations) so the numbers at the time jennycas pointed out is about 125...sorry...I was interested in who and country, did not look at whether the team IDs were linear...some one else pointed it out in an email to me this morning.

Certainly hope everyone is OK... standing by for the news...

We seem to be coping alright down here. Have been constantly been getting reasonably big aftershocks and mostly at night so has made for a few restless nights. Several places are without water still but most places have power again. Some areas (Mainly near the waterways) are worse off than others, but on the whole most buildings are OK probably because we have fairly solid building codes here.
