Our very own Brian May is front-and-center on this years American Birkebeiner Commemorative poster. He's also on the cover of this year's pre-race "Birch Scroll" magazine (an enlargement of the right-hand side of the poster). Its kindof hard to see him there on the Birkie main page, but thats him in the first blue suit on the right-hand edge of the elite peleton (#30). The merchandise section has a larger version of the poster, but its still hard to see him. I'll try to make a scan of the mag tomorrow and post it, or maybe kadley or Greg can scan theirs. The photo is awesome. Incidentally, Brian was 34th OVERALL in last year's Birkie...11 mins behind the winner, with a 2:47/km pace for the 51km race. He was 30th the previous year with about the same time. There were 3800 finishers last year, and probably 200-300 DNFs.
