A while ago someone from this list contacted me about possible participation in the MTBO Champs for the US. I lost my old emails due to a computer crash and no longer have the contact info. If you are still interested in this, please contact me ASAP. I have an athlete planning to attend and we need to coordinate if there will be more than one entrant.

I had considered it, but my summer is booked. Not sure if I'm the one you're referring to.

I contacted you at some point about participating. It was quite some time ago so I am not sure you mean me...I still plan to be in Joensuu but I will participate in the Jaama Cup instead (the 5 open MTBO events held at the same time). The reason I didn't pursue entry into the WC is that I had surgery on my wrist not long ago and I won't be able to get on my bike at all until early-mid June, so those may be my first MTB races of the year and I won't be in top shape. Nevertheless I will be there at the races with a car and some local knowledge so I am more than willing to help out the other participant, perhaps even share a room if he (assuming it is he) is looking for one. I will be traveling from Jyväskylä to Kainuu Rasti Week and then down to Joensuu on the opening day.

Thanks for the replies. I think Rick is who I am remembering. The person who will be going is Carl Fey. He is a long time member of the US Ski-O Team and lives in Sweden. Be sure to look him up and root for him!
