Discussion: AP rankings

Ah! I was wondering if the AP rankings would leap the Atlantic. They're purely calculated from runners who enter their splits, and the methodology is straight from the USOF ranking system (pretty complex). I think it takes at least a couple of ranked runners to make an event countable, so it was Boris and me entering our splits from the JK sprint that seeded things. Now that there are a few orienteers in the UK with rankings, things will start to evolve here of their own accord, and independently of the North Americans who are in the list at present, unless, of course, there is cross-pollination in the future. Not that rankings mean anything :).

Can't make that, I'm afraid. Although I imagine I would get a *lot* of AP points if I did!
