Discussion: Gatineau Park Rogaine - October 21

Hello all,

It is now official, the Ottawa Orienteering Club will be hosting an 8-hour rogaine in beautiful Gatineau Park, 20 minutes north of Ottawa, Canada. The event will be held on October 21, during the fall rhapsody of colour. There will be shorter versions (2h and 4h) also. Sounds good. I'll probably be there. Are you gonna use just one large map of the park? What scale would that be?

I hope it's one big map, that would be great. It would be big, but great to have them connected, going north of Fortune onto the Keogan map, you have the Kingsmere one south of the map. That would be a wicked map.

The two-hour format will use one map at 1:15,000, while the longer formats will use an additional map at 1:25,000 (generalized)
