Gutted,
Mine fell to part during a camp champs when i was a young one, contacts every since. If you can wear them i'd strongly recommend it. Not only for your problem, but also offers wider vison field

What happened to the laser surgery?

Went back to woods where lost glasses with Nick. Took him all of about 15secs to find them for me - they came off a good few metres back from where I was looking on the day. I will now go and buy a colourful elastic cord to keep them on.

One thing I have noticed not wearing them is how many times trees come in contact with my eyes - I can understand how every person I know who uses lenses when o-ing has lost one at some point or other.

Good point about the wider field of vision - my glasses are very small and when ducking under stuff I look above them hence can't see properly.

Laser surgery is the future but for now at least I can put it off until I have more time to research and more money to spare.
