Discussion: Artillery testers aim off?

For those of you (like me) who enjoyed blowing things up as a kid, there is a very special event on Saturday in Maryland:

Launch of a 1/10 scale model of a Saturn V rocket

This thing is huge. Launch weight is 0.8 tons - like a small Japanese car. Should be quite a show. Not sure how close I'd want to get though :)

seems odd that they could miss whatever they were aiming at by that much...maybe they were aiming at the houses
