And that's exciting about the cliffs. Except that I must have gone even more out of the way than I thought, then.

Oh, and I finally downloaded Quickroute and put the route on it from the QOC meet. Thanks for the advice--it's fun! The GPS route didn't pass quite through all of the controls at first though, so I had to drag them around a little. Is that normal?

You usually have to move the track a little. The best thing to do is to try to get three farthest known points and use those. It is dependent on the accuracy of the Garmin. It is common.
