HOLLY, YOU ARE BONKERS!!!! why didnt you just do another crunch or something?

Jordan, Holly particularly loves to accompany me to classes such as Butts, Guts and Thighs and ABSolution where we basically kill our abs and thighs... j/k. she came came a couple times, but now calls them "torture classes" and "goes for a run" instead. she does actually run. idk what the quotes are for.

Btw, Holly, in spite of your lack of enjoyment in doing abs, you've gotten me hooked on those in and out things and windshield wipers...

A lot of different crunch variations...mostly they're from high school cross-country workouts.

Bicycles (touch opposite leg to opposite elbow)...one set fast and one set slow (slow is harder)

Normal crunches

Windshield wipers (hold onto grass or something else that's stable, lie on your back, and let your legs drop together from side to side...this one is hard for me)

Hip-ups...hard to describe in writing

Creaky coffins (you're supposed to sit up while making loud noises, but I've skipped the second part ;-))

and a handful of other ones. Also some push-ups, which I know aren't really core but it seems silly to log separately.

What do you do for core workouts?

Oh, and jellyrolls if I'm doing them outside. These are the most fun. You do a crunch, then roll over onto your stomach and to the other side and do another crunch.

hahaha Mallory, well said ;-). I just can't do abs, etc. for a whole hour. Granted, maybe more than 4:59 would be good...

Eh, might as well count pushups. You actually do use a lot of your core for stability when you do them.

And, conversely, good core stability helps a lot for push-up form.

... though that's a total non sequitor.
