Results from the WOC long qualifiers are in; lots of solid runs from Canada and US -- congrats everybody. Looking forward to hearing news/stories from the frontlines.
On the women's side, in heat B, Cherie Mahoney grabbed the last qualification spot finishing 15th in 63 min. In heats A and C, Erin and Sandy had very strong runs (58 and 61 mins), but their heats turned out to be tougher to qualify in. Winning times were around 45min.
On the men's side, all three canucks and Brian May put in great efforts of ~75 minutes, but about 70 minutes was needed to qualify. Winning times were around 61 minutes. Holger Hott Johansen
finished 2nd in his heat just 3 seconds from 1st.
