Registration is now open for the 2009 Salomon Giant's Rib Raid.
When: April 11th
Where: Rocky Ridge Ranch (site of 2006 North American Orienteering Champs).
The Niagara Escarpment (aka the Giant's Rib) was a formidable physical barrier to early explorers in southern Ontario. Steep cliffs, rocky ground, and large creeks also made navigation difficult for these adventurers. The 2008-2009 Salomon Adventure Running Series Finale takes place adjacent to one of southern Ontario's largest (and rockiest) forests on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. Teams can expect lots of technical running and navigation as they Raid the Rib. The Salomon Giant's Rib Raid is the finale and race #3 of the Salomon DontGetLost.ca Adventure Running Series presented by Fox River.
