Discussion: Missed You Again

Hey, what about the training in the woods? Here we had a meet right in your backyard and we didn't see yah. Saving it for tommorow?

When I saw the title to Nadim's message -- Missed You Again -- I thought he must have been driving the big shiny truck.

Ha. No, I did not make the Night-O, but will be there today. Nadim, you obviously are not aware of the fact that I am a fantastic klutz in the woods, managing to hurt myself quite badly even in the full light of day. So, I opted to not tempt fate by running in the pitch black with so many A-meets on the horizon.

I can relate, which is one big reason I skipped the night-o. I managed to hurt myself quite badly today on the way to 10. While crossing a log, I ran the side of my knee into a tree limb spike. OUCH. Much pain and it still hurts to bend the knee. Should be better by the weekend. :-)

No shiny truck. I wouldn't want one. Quite understandable Kissy. I didn't fall much last night but there was a bunch of stuff in the way to make it easy. We'll proceed to expect big things from you later in the season.

Yeah, you're looking quite svelte and running well! All the training is definitely showing. Well done.
