Ok, so as many people probably know by now, there is still tons of snow on the ground in Scandinavia and most of Northern Europe. So this is a plea for help: as races in April are being cancelled right and left, does anyone know of any O-meets someplace warm (and preferably still in Europe) the weekends of April 1-2 or April 8-9? I found something in Portugal (http://orimarao.home.sapo.pt/provas/caminhos/camin...) that looks pretty good, but no cheap place tickets so far. Does anybody know of something else? Thanks!

Well, if the Flying Pig or the NEOC A meet count as warm (and it was 54F in Boston yesterday)... want to run for CSU?

If someone pays for a plane ticket, maybe. :)

Boris, have you checked out the Italian event calendar?

Sadly, the tickets to the Pig are minimum $1000 each and, as Greg pointed out, we'd need two.
Italy or Portugal (or staying in Sweden and sucking it up) seem more likely at the moment.

Are you considering the French 3-day over the Easter weekend, down near Bordeaux. Interesting sand dunes and good wine... That's not until April 15th I think, but the French might have some warm up events prior to that.

Dude, you should come to the Yukon! Snow is only ankle deep here. Ran in the forest yesterday. We got very little snow this year. Should be all gone in about a week. Wacky weather all over the world.
