Great unintentional trolling on Facebook!
Why do such adamant Lavoisier Society members hang out as your facebook friends?

Certainly stirred everyone up, didn't I?

The chief antagonist is a weather enthusiast from Darwin who seems to have a blind spot on climate change. He also happens to have the distinction of possibly the most spectacular failure in Australian political history, managing as the CLP candidate at the 2005 NT elections to get something like 12% in a seat they previously held.

As for the forecast under discussion, Melbourne might - or might not - get lucky with sea breezes, but it's hard to see Bendigo avoiding at least three successive days in the high 30s/low 40s from Tuesday. Doesn't look too windy so that's one positive from the fire point of view. (It looks like some of Belltopper Hill/Two Kangaroo Creeks burnt this afternoon, although neither area is in current use).

Yep, the boys were all excited hopping into their trucks as I walked out of work yesterday.
As far as Belltopper and two Kangaroo Creeks are concerned, I'm not missing them.

Would anyone notice the difference? They have always been pretty fast areas. You could still run there. It would just be a bit blacker than usual.

I was referring to the 'neither in current use' part of the comment. We did need some quick footwork to convince Tuckonie that Belltopper was not as good an option as Browns Reef for next years Schools event.
