Some time way back when we were just starting this crazy sport about 10 years ago, we did an A event on one of the Harriman maps, perhaps during the "Round Up". I was slowly going around this very rocky, shallow but wide reentrant. Quite gingerly as I recall as the rocks were pretty thick with good possibilities of holes any where. Off to my side a ways I saw a yellow flash, floating at high speed straight through the rocks like a deer. I didn't know many people in the sport at the time, but as near as I can figure it must have been Greg Balter. I figured it was either an impressive display of skill or sheer madness. What a crazy sport. Great stuff.

Merry christmas.

If it was Balter, I'd bet on the madness.
