the following is off the OA site

Senior B Squad = Those who have demonstrated a high level of performance and a commitment to attending selection trials in the future.

If i send an email saying im going in the trials does that mean im in the squad?

Tell me if you're successful. I'm after a spot too, although April isn't a good time for me to travel to the trials due to the Keen race.

The Aus MTBO Champs are also on a bad weekend, being the Aus Rogaining Champs weekend in WA. Poor timing on all counts.

Oh blimmin' heck - I just had a look and realised I'm already in the Senior B Squad. How did that happen?

Hi Lazydave - you do a lot of Mountain Biking, and 8th in the foot-O Long Champs is not to be sneezed at. But have you actually done any MTBO in the last year? You don't have a separate category for it on your log, or is it under that other M activity you list?

anyway what i wanted to point out was that isnt a bit of a joke that people are selected in a National squad purely because they are going in a couple of races?

Lazydave, that would be entirely appropriate. ;-}
