| Tooms: | Apparently 6 boats were lost and one person (on their ski) was rescued 6 nautical miles offshore! No water safety either. Most people pulled out at Meelup but those that carried on got into difficulty rounding rocky point into Bunker Bay. |

| Tooms: | Someone at swimming this morning (tRicky, swimming is what you do when you fall off your ski in deep water!) said that the local newspapers 'down south' had insanely positive spin on it all - well-organised, top-notch event etc. Given we all know newspapers gild the lily a bit, this probably confirms the reality!! |
