| Dog Runner: | Where did you guys camp? Next time I go up there I think I'll either camp near the car or at least set up in one location and do day trips from there. Some of the climbs were a bit technical and sketchy with all the gear. |

| Leanimal: | We camped at the end of this dead end road that some locals told us about last time we were down there. It's leads right to the trails and you don't have to pay. Sweet deal! As we were bounding along this time I remembered how hard it was to do some of the trails with the big packs on. I spent a lot of time sliding on my butt and I remember the pack would throw me forward and I wanted to scream. Fast packing it is the way to go. We ran when we could which was a nice break! I was thinking that next year that will have to be the location of our girls weekend. Four or five days though. That will give us time to check out some of the stores and cafes in town!!! |
